Supervisor Liaison Officers (SLOs)

The SLOs wear two hats. They are a supervisor but also NTGPE employees who act as the go-between NTGPE and GP supervisors. There are currently two SLOs:

Dr Sarah Chalmers sarah.chalmers@flinders.edu.au

Dr Anne Kleinitz annekleinitz@gmail.com

To encourage supervisors to come earlier rather than later and also have supervisors feeling like they have a collective group that can do things. We are there to help.

Supervisor Advisory Committee

NTGPE has a supervisor advisory committee, which is made up of GP supervisors representing different regions in the NT. The committee's role is to provide representation from the GP supervisor group to engage in direct communication and provide feedback, suggestions and advice to NTGPE and meets three to four times a year.

Contact the supervisor and practice accreditation coordinator on supervisor@ntgpe.org or one of the above SLOs to be put in touch with your regional representative.

Expressions of interest to become a committee member are called for annually. For more information contact supervisor@ntgpe.org.

General Practice Supervisors Association (GPSA)

General Practice Supervisors Association (GPSA) is the peak body for GP supervisors nationally and offers education and support for GP supervisors. NTGPE encourages all GP supervisors to become a member of GPSA through gpsupervisorsaustralia.org.au (membership is free).
