Apply to the AGPT program through the college you want to achieve fellowship with.
There are two colleges in Australia where you can train towards a fellowship in general practice: Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) and Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). Both fellowships lead to vocational registration as a specialist general practitioner and you can work anywhere in Australia.
In order to decide which college to choose, we advise you research both colleges and choose the pathway that best suits your career plans.
NTGPE is one of nine RTOs in Australia, and the sole provider in the NT. RTOs manage the day to day running of the program and make sure mandatory requirements from AGPT, RACGP and ACRRM are met. The RTO manages placements for GP registrars throughout their training. Learn more about training in the NT with NTGPE here
