Passionate, skilled and innovative people make up the NTGPE family.

We offer training and support services to GP registrars, GP supervisors and training posts. To do this our people are skilled in medical education, management, administration, finance, counselling and well being, marketing and communications, events management, human resource management  and information technology.

There are about 45 full time staff and a 15 casual medical educators and assessors.

Ashleigh is responsible for GP registrar support specifically with the ECTVs.

Ashleigh works in a team to manage the administration and coordination of the GP Registrar Program. Ashleigh's focus is planning external clinical teaching visits (ECTV) for GP registrars with medical educators.

Claire has a strong background in travel which is beneficial to her busy role which involves coordinating medical educators and registrars to meet throughout the territory.

Mallory works alongside the other GP registrar support officers, and focuses specifically on organising training advisor meetings. These meetings are crucial to maintaining a high standard of training support and direction for GP registrars.

Rachel is responsible for the administration and coordination of the GP Registrar Program.
Darwin

Rachel sits in a team of four who are tasked with the administration and coordination of the GP registrar program. She is the first point of contact for topics relating to workshops and orientation. Rachel is in charge of the administration for Practice StAMPS and Practice OSCE, AGPT forms and Medicare provider numbers, as well as assisting in other elements of the program.

Silvia and Susie jointly share in the role of GPR program manager. Her background is in project management and has some 20 years experience in this area.

Silvia and Susie jointly share in the role of GPR program manager. Her background is in project management and has some 20 years experience in this area. Originally from Italy, Silvia has a special interest in languages and cross-cultural communication. She is responsible for a broad range of areas relating to GP registrar training and is the line manager for the GPR support team members who work in the areas of:

  • Recognition of prior learning
  • Training advice meetings
  • External clinical teaching visits
  • Cultural teaching visits

Sophie is responsible for the administration and coordination of the GP Registrar Program. Sophie's primarily role is to support small group learning, myGPcommunity mandatory tasks and the placement process. Sophie‘s background in travel and hospitality has her well equipped to multi-task while maintaining an excellent customer service oriented work ethic.

Susie is responsible for the joint management of the GP Registrar Program

Susie brings a strong background in health management and education from her experience in practice management and practice staff training. She works in tandem with the other GPR program manager and is responsible for many areas relating to GP registrar training. Susie is the line manager for the GPR support team members who work in the areas of:

  • Placements
  • Practice capacity
  • Orientation and workshops
  • AGPT application process including provider numbers
  • RIDE and NAC reporting
  • ADF GP registrars
  • NTGPE awards night
  • Issues relating to the RACGP pathway including exams
  • GP tracks
