Passionate, skilled and innovative people make up the NTGPE staff.

We offer training and support services to GP registrars, GP supervisors and training posts. To do this, our people are skilled in medical education, management, administration, finance, counselling and well being, marketing and communications, events management, human resource management and information technology.

There are around 45 full-time staff and 15 casual medical educators and assessors.

GP Registrar Support Officer
Ashleigh provides GP registrar support and focuses specifically on ECTVs, OSCE, StAMPS, provider numbers, RAC

Ashleigh works in a team to manage the administration and coordination of the GP Registrar Program. Ashleigh's primary focus is planning external clinical teaching visits (ECTV) for GP registrars with medical educators.

Caitlyn provides GP registrar support and focuses specifically on workshops, orientations and AGPT selection process

Caitlyn works alongside the other GP registrar support officers, and focuses primarily on organising GP registrar orientations and workshops.

Claire works in a team to manage the administration and coordination of the GP Registrar Program.  Claire has a strong background in travel which is beneficial to her busy role which involves coordinating medical educators and registrars to meet throughout the territory. Claire works part time Wed-Fri and shares her role with Sophie.

Hannah provides GP registrar support and focuses specifically on myGPc, SGL, TA, PEP

Hannah is responsible for the administration and coordination of the GP Registrar Program. Hannah supports small group learning and myGPcommunity mandatory tasks. Hannah's background in travel has her well equipped to multi-task while maintaining an excellent customer service oriented work ethic.

Senior GP Registrar Program Manager
Silvia is responsible for a broad range of areas relating to GP registrar training.
Darwin

Silvia's background is in project management and has some 20 years experience in this area. Originally from Italy, Silvia has a special interest in languages and cross-cultural communication. She is responsible for a broad range of areas relating to GP registrar training and is the line manager for the GPR support team members who work in the areas of:

  • Recognition of prior learning
  • Training advisor meetings
  • External clinical teaching visits
  • Cultural teaching visits
  • Completion of training (COT)
  • GP Registrar Placements
  • Exam eligibility assessment process
  • Withdrawal of GP registrars from training
