Board strategy meeting in Darwin
The NTGPE board held a two day strategy meeting in Darwin last week, incorporating the final board meeting of the year. The meeting included discussions about NT GP registrar numbers, transition of the training program to ACRRM and the RACGP, the role of GP supervisors, and communication with our stakeholders. The board spoke to the two colleges about the special context of education and training GP registrars in the NT.
The board also met with Professor Paul Worley, the National Rural Health Commissioner, about the national rural generalist pathway and acknowledged him for his contribution as a Director of NTGPE from 2012 to 2016.
