Large turnout at AIDA conference in Perth

Australian Indigenous Doctors' Association (AIDA), the national body representing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander doctors and medical students hosted their annual conference in Perth last week, September 26 -28.

The conference had the largest number of delegates to date with 400 Indigenous doctors, medical students and representatives from supporting organisations travelling from around Australia to explore the 2018 theme 'Vision into Action'.  Among the delegates were GP registrars, Dr Lorus Swift and Dr Sarah Goddard, and Flinders NT Medical Student, Jean Pepperill who all received NTGPE's support to attend.
