Growing Indigenous health workforce

Indigenous doctors and medical students from the NT came together at Wharf One in Darwin on Friday, April 20. Eager medical students were particularly keen to network with Indigenous doctors and they were pleasantly surprised by the number of Indigenous specialists there is in the NT hospital system.

Event organiser NTGPE Medical Educator, Dr Olivia O'Donoghue said, "these events are important for our mob to socialise and develop formal and informal mentoring relationships with each other".
