The 4th annual Health Professionals Teaching and Learning Conference, held 30 - 31 March in Alice Springs, was recognised by coordinators and delegates alike as the most successful yet, with a great cross section of papers covering contemporary teachings, advancements and issues under the topic banner of Performance and Professionalism in Health Professional Education. Delegates noted especially that the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed while the event itself well organised and easy to get around.

Simon and the GPettes, the only band in Australia to boast a full complement of GPs in its ranks, entertained with a really different array of songs long since heard but well remembered to set a dulcet backdrop for a great conference dinner under the stars with a Territory BBQ that stood out for its rich array of red centre flavours.
